Regarding the amendment of circular No. (6/2022) Concerning (Laden/Ballast) “Chemical Tankers and Other Liquid Bulk Tankers” [Rate (6) of the Transit Dues Schedule] passing the Suez Canal in both directions
Suez Canal Authority decided the following:-
Article One:
The surcharge levied on (Laden/Ballast) “Chemical Tankers and Other Liquid Bulk Tankers” [Rate (6) of the Transit Dues Schedule] transiting the Suez Canal in both directions, is amended to be 32% from Suez Canal normal transit dues rather than 20%.
Noting that these surcharges are temporary and can be either amended or cancelled according to the “Maritime Industry” market conditions.

Article Two:
This periodical is applicable to tankers transiting the Suez Canal from the 15th of July 2026.
