Regarding the amendment of circular No. (8/2022)Concerning (Laden/Ballast) “General Cargo Vessels, Multi-Purpose Vessels, Heavy Lift Vessels, General Cargo/Heavy Lift Vessels,Multi-Purpose/Heavy Lift Vessels” passing the Suez Canal in both directions
Suez Canal Authority decided the following:-
Article One:
The surcharge levied on (Laden/Ballast) “General Cargo Vessels, Multi-Purpose Vessels, Heavy Lift Vessels, General Cargo/Heavy Lift Vessels, Multi-Purpose/Heavy Lift Vessels” [Rate (8) of the Transit Dues Schedule] transiting the Suez Canal in both directions, is amended to be 26% from Suez Canal normal transit dues rather than 14%.
Noting that these surcharges are temporary and can be either amended or cancelled according to the “Maritime Industry” market conditions.

Article Two:
This periodical is applicable to vessels transiting the Suez Canal from the 15th of July 2026.
