– Suez Canal Authority decided that circular no.
(2/2016), its amendment issued on 13 July 2016 and its amending periodical issued
on 27 September 2020 and its amending and renewal periodical issued on 13
December 2023 (which grants rebates to laden or ballast “Containerships” directly
coming from ports at the East Coast of the Americas & the US Gulf and directly
heading to ports at the South and South East of Asia)
shall remain inforce until 31 December 2026
(the last permissible sailing date from “port of origin” is 31 December 2026).
