Regarding the amendment of circular No. (3/2022) Concerning (Laden/Ballast) “Dry Bulk Vessels” [Rate (3) of the Transit Dues Schedule] passing the Suez Canal in both directions
Canal Authority had
decided the following:-
Article One:
The surcharge levied on (Laden/Ballast)
“Dry Bulk Vessels” [Rate (3) of the Transit Dues Schedule] transiting the Suez Canal in both directions, is
amended to be 22% from Suez Canal normal transit dues rather than 10%.
Noting that these
surcharges are temporary and can be either amended or cancelled according to
the “Maritime Industry” market conditions
This article contains an amendment for an earlier article: Circular No. (3/2022)
Article Two:
This periodical is applicable
to vessels transiting the Suez Canal from the 15th of July 2026.
