Regarding the amendment of circular No. (5/2022) Concerning (Laden/Ballast) “Liquefied Natural Gas” [Rate (5) of the Transit Dues Schedule] passing the Suez Canal in both directions
Suez Canal Authority decided the following:-
Article One:
The surcharge levied on (Laden/Ballast) “Liquefied Natural Gas” [Rate (5) of the Transit Dues Schedule] transiting the Suez Canal in both directions, is amended to be 19% from Suez Canal normal transit dues rather than 7%.
Noting that these surcharges are temporary and can be either amended or cancelled according to the “Maritime Industry” market conditions

– This periodical is applicable to LNG Carriers transiting the Suez Canal from the 15th of July 2026.
