Regarding the amendment of circular No. (10/2022) Concerning (Laden/Ballast) “Vehicles Carriers” [Rate (10) of the Transit Dues Schedule] passing the Suez Canal in both directions
Suez Canal Authority decided the following:-
Article One:
The surcharge levied
on (Laden/Ballast) “Vehicles Carriers” [Rate (10) of the Transit Dues Schedule]
transiting the Suez Canal Northbound only, is amended to be 26% from
Suez Canal normal transit dues rather than 14%.
A surcharge of 12%
from Suez Canal normal transit dues is levied on (Laden/Ballast) “Vehicles
Carriers” [Rate (10) of the Transit Dues Schedule] transiting the Suez Canal Southbound
only.
Noting that these surcharges
are temporary and can be either amended or cancelled according to the “Maritime
Industry” market conditions.

This periodical is applicable to tankers transiting the Suez Canal from the 15th of July 2026.
