Regarding Circular No. (1/2024) concerning the mechanism of providing mooring services from ground stations distributed along the canal
As part of the facilitations granted by the Suez Canal Authority in support of its clients, the Suez Canal Authority has decided the following:
Article one:
The tariff for mooring and lighting
services for vessels and small marine units of less than 1500 tons is
determined as follows:
1 – All
transiting vessels will be charged a fixed total amount of $2,500 for mooring
and lighting services in under the new ground
station system according to the
conditions mentioned in Circular No. 1 of 2024.
2 – In the event that the vessel
requests lighting services (searchlight, electrician) or if the searchlight
does not comply with SC Rules
of Navigation, an additional $1,000 will be added
to the previous tariff in item (1) for lighting services, bringing the total
amount to
$3,500 including mooring and lighting services.
This article contains an amendment for an earlier article: Circular No. (1/2024)
Article Two:
All
mechanisms and conditions set forth in Circular (1/2024) in this regard shall
apply along with the tariff mentioned above.
