Periodical No. (1/2025) Concerning Circular No. (4/2013) by which vessels transiting the Suez Canal are granted rebates on her long haul voyages
As a part of the facilitations offered by Suez
Canal Authority and in its continuous commitment to support its esteemed
clients, Suez Canal Authority decided the following:
Article One
Specific “Long
Haul” cases shall be granted an exception from the condition set by circular
no. (4/2013), which states that “Long Haul” rebate requests must be submitted
at least 48 hours prior to the vessel’s sailing from “Origin port” according to
the following conditions:
1. The “Long Haul” rebate request is
submitted by the local agent prior to the vessel’s sailing from “Origin port”.
2. The “Exception Request” is submitted by the
local agent prior to the vessel’s Suez Canal transit via a message on the
“E-Long Haul” service on Suez Canal Authority’s website.

– This periodical shall be applicable to the “Long
Haul” rebate requests submitted from the 1st of March 2025.
